On the train home from London, sadly someone had lost their life as a result of being hit by a train.

So sad and tragic for all involved.

As a life long people pleaser, at the grand old age of 46, it is time to end that nonsense.
I have always been a giving person whether that is my time, generosity and it is time to be more selective on who and how, most importantly focussing on the rarity of myself. This will be a hard unraveling.

Happy new year folks, how is 2025 treating you 6 days in?

After 6 weeks ish of illness pre-xmas I am trying to enter this year with a pace I can manage.

Lots of work stuff in Q4 can feel high stakes & need to get over the line. Balancing health, single parenting and work is an absolute priority.

Oh if I rizz or skibidi with 13 year old he goes nuts! 😅

C asked what this was, as spent some birthday vouchers. I told him it was a tickle brush and he 100% believed me.

As one dropped and he said oh, it is a make up brush at which point I realised he thought it was a tickle brush 🤣

Teen wants to go to town tomorrow with his birthday spends. I said later in the day, he replied if we went in the morning he’d buy me breakfast.

Aw sweet, even though I wouldn’t let him, it was nice of him to think of me for a change 🥰

Well….. last Friday I managed to roll on my ankle, on a flat surface. No excuses! Always feel so silly falling as an adult. It is still bruised but more movement now. Wispa has been proper fed up. Grandpaw coming for her today.

That is a good place to be, gorgeous space and I can just inhale the sea air 🥰

Ice and especially black ice is a borderline phobia for me and I jest not. Thankfully we are dry and cold here, so frost but minimal ice.

Definitely an acceptable excuse!
