For 3 months the tablet worked like a dream…until it didn’t. At first a hdmi cable worked, but the cursor kept appearing on main monitor.
It took an OS update to “fix” things and then PS (2025) lagged horribly.
I’ve been working with PS (2023) no further issues.

3/4The tablet’s usb-c cable stopped working out of nowhere (but it worked perfectly fine on another computer that didn’t have the driver previously installed).
After an update (iMac), the cable once again worked, but the tablet couldn’t save the correct mapping area.
So yeah: DRIVER SUCKS.
As soon as I get this done, I’ll write to Xp-Pen support and see if I can get this issue fixed once and for all.
In any case, this is a driver conflict that has nothing to do with Mac’s obsession with permissions, and everything to do with the quality of xp-pen drivers.

The xp-pen is not playing nice. It´s really frustrating when I run into technical difficulties (and in the middle of a freaking deadline)
I spent 3 hours battling with it. In the end, I was able to make it work, but had to downgrade my PS version.

I used the HDMI connection and the damned thing is working again! (there is no color disparity either).
I will write a LENGTHY letter to xp pen support, as it is not acceptable that their cables fail for no apparent reason.

I uninstalled drivers, etc.
the iMac is still asking me to plug in the tablet.
I also tried it to plug it to the outlet, but still NO IMAGE.
I’m so sad :(
Yeah, well, my brand new xp-pen is no longer working with my iMac.
The mac keeps prompting me to plug in the device (it is!).
So there’s no image.
I connected it to my macbook air and to my husband’s computer and the damned thing works. The thunderbolt port on imac also works with a dif monitor 1/2
