I was due to work on Sunday at BST Hyde Park - very excited to be part of the very last performance of Jeff Lynne’s ELO.

As the various news updates came through about Jeff’s health through the last week, Sundays event became a concern before cancelled.

Great day working in Keighley, North Yorkshire yesterday

Celtic FC was on my way to work today.

My Dads team when he lived here.

Work took me into Northumbria last week.

Hadrians Wall and everything. I must go back soon.

Sometimes as a jobbing actor I deliver flowers ;

I get the see the reactions that the original senders can only imagine. It’s a joy.

But I can’t ever walk through here without taking into account I had a grandmother born literally next door to this - over 100 years ago though.

Just thinking maybe the art of the day would have been Kandinsky or Monet’s water lillies.

I had a look at two churches in Brentford yesterday.

The tall spire one, St Paul’s, has a nice coffee shop - it’s where my great-grandfather was baptised.

The other one, St George’s, now converted to residentual by the Thames - is where my great-great-grandparents married in 1865. #ancestry

One of those days yesterday where it’s possible to do two film jobs.

A late call time on one production meant a costume fit for another could be hastily arranged for the morning.

Thinking of everyone caught up in the West Coast #wildfires

Everyone should be committed to working together, actively saving lives & saving homes.

High winds, strong heat, dry ground = perfect recipe.

Pointing fingers for political point scoring can come later - it’s not a good look.

Someone has added their own artistic contribution to a set of super tall wand-lights that can be found outside Guildford Odeon Cinema.

I’ve been thinking ever since about how they did it.
