It's the holiday season. The perfect timr to lose your shit, in my opinion.

I have been admiring this for 84 years. I love them, your honor.

I know I've been radio silent lately. I've been busy raising a puppy and traveling out of state, among other things.

In TTRPG news, I've

1.) Rekindled my affection for VtM. (To that end I'm giving Bloodlines 2 a shot.)

2.) Ruvaen and Shrike are a couple & Shrike broke Ruvaen's curse.

Calliope is nearly 14 weeks and is getting bigger by the day. I figured I owed a pupdate.

I love them so much. Osorin's particularly gorgeous here. They captured them so well! 🥹💜

A lot has been happening in our Curse of Strahd campaign, and very little of it has been good. On the plus side, Ruvaen is rediscovering what falling for someone feels like!

Ruvaen finally killed Izak last night. It's just a matter of deciding what to do with his severed head.

He has inherited Shrike against his will.(Yet gets tense at the thought of him injured or dying.)

He cut a blood trail towards Vargas' house (Literally. He is actively bleeding out.) #DnD

This is the second time Roo has effectively been widowed. I'm not loving thr implications for his mental health/sanity.

I am looking forward to him finally getting his lick back and killing Izak and Vargas. The only thing that motivates him more than a kiss is vengeance. #DnD

The Draven/Ruvaen truthers at the table got what they wanted for .5 seconds last night. Ruvaen got the boy and lost him in the same night.

Strahd has taken his sister Arianelle. And also Draven. I am both excited for and dreading his renewed commitment to summer.

Session was slightly calmer last night.

-Ruvaen, along with his sister Arinelle, had their own pyre for Ruvaen's partner.

-It didn't cure his depression, though.

- Swordfought Ari with sticks to entertain children.

- Unfortunately is now convinced that Draven is a hallucination/ghost.

-Said explosion resulted in the party having to abandon their plan to rescue Draven.

- Shout out to Ari's "you've known him two days" re: "I am not leaving him."(Indefensible. Man's a raging homosexual.)

- The party escaped. Ruvaen's Phase II now includes killing whoever he has to. Oops?

Last night's session was both more and less harrowing than expected.

-Ruvaen's plan worked. It also, unfortunately, got him executed while downed.

- The ghost of his partner revived him and also divine fury-ed an unfortunate explosion on the upper level of the prison.

Astra would likely use 🙄 😏🍆⚔️🥵. He's chronically unimpressed, utterly insatiable, and few things make him happier or get him hotter than a good fight. Or extreme violence in general.

Fixing up the new place a little at a time. Today's agenda included removing the invasive ivy (most of it,) and the Tree of Heaven. Also pruned the Waxy Leaf ligustrum back. (Don't worry. It grows two feet in a year.) Here's some before and after pictures.
