Two fish in a tank. One says to the other 'How do you drive this thing?' Most pics I stole from internet searches - I give credit if I know the source. Please don't beg me for money. I don't reply to DMs from people I don't know.

IMHO the real medical emergency is those idiots thinking they're better off consulting Chat GPT than NHS 111 or their GP surgery.

AI has it's uses, but all this inappropriate slop it's being used for is enshittifying EVERYTHING, isn't it?

I haven't got dodgy valves afaik, but I've got arthritic shoulders and hips, and my physical fitness levels leave a lot to be desired. I'm currently procrastinating about getting into condition πŸ˜‚

Whatever the future holds for you and your health, I hope it goes well 😘

Who said he looked bad? I agree with you; given his age, medical history, and the fact he abused his body with anabolic steroids in his youth (before they were made illegal), I think he looks great!

But you have to admit, the resemblance is undeniable. I bet he'd agree πŸ˜€

A lookey likey. On the left is a topless Arnold Schwarzenegger on his holidays at the seaside. His man-boob eyes, paunch, and belly-button mouth bear a startling resemblance to the piscine visage of Admiral Ackbar.

NB. For the benefit of the uninitiated, Ackbar is a member of the amphibious Mon Calamari species from the Star Wars franchise. Basically, he looks like a fish in a space suit.

Album cover I found on an image search, depicting a photo of a four piece French 'boy band', all sporting rather ostentatious moustaches, resplendent in their cardigans, lounging at the base of a plinth of a statue that isn't in shot, but I think it might be Louis XIV.

The album title (and, I suspect the name of the band) is 'Les Moustaches'.

Apart from the above description, I'm kind of lost for words.

If I had money, I'd buy them all, convert some into overpriced luxury services for people with more money than sense, and use the profits from those to fund the running of the community resources in the other warehouses. Non-profit, public services, job creation.

Ask the Gates Foundation maybe?

Being dyslexic is a disability for sure, I've worked with plenty of dyslexics - but dictionaries, spell checkers etc are useful aids, and any intelligent dyslexic would have these on hand.

The person spelled 'incest' perfectly; I'm pretty sure this is a case of the wrong word.

The lost black and white classic Ingmar Bergman film, β€œThe Seventh Muppet” has recently been restored and remastered. The film depicts the violence and the struggle of modern life through a game of chess played between a disillusioned Kermit The Frog and the figure of Death.

It's a recipe book for kids: Cooking with Pooh.

Yes, before you say anything, it does indeed feature a picture of Winnie the Pooh stirring cookie dough - The Disney Pooh, not the REAL Pooh, as illustrated by EH Shepard.

If the title didn't start your inner eight-year old sniggering, you're made of stone.

I read that and saw 'word gardener'....

I decided 'word gardeners' a) Keep languages alive by using less common words and b) Read avidly, harvesting words to use later. One can never have too much vocabulary, right? πŸ˜‚

I do stuff in my garden, but 'gardener' would be too much of a stretch for me 🌻

I love this, but where's the 80% chance of rain the second I get back into the house?

When I was a kid, there were no driers, not enough room inside, so we used our lines all year. I remember Mum used to line my Dad's boiler suits up against the kitchen wall in Winter πŸ˜‚

People come from all over to see the three bridges, one atop the other.
According to the ancient tale, the Devil built the first bridge. Afraid for their mortal souls, the Church built the second bridge.
Afraid for the weight of traffic, the council built the third bridge.
There's bathos for you πŸ˜‚
