I want to add, older people are/have been carrying a lot of the protests right now. As I've said previously, I live near a weekly one and they've been out there every Saturday for months; I messaged my friends about seeing them back in February.

We have witnessed lawmakers killed for progressive beliefs. We have witnessed senators thrown to the ground and cuffed because they questioned. We have seen people gassed, shot, trampled for peaceful protest. And we came out anyway. Because quietly abiding hasn’t protected us. And we are many.
