GFiber Update: Back online day 5. Reps were kind. Glad to be back online and glad to still be with GFiber.
Would have been good not to allow a third-party initiate a disconnection in the first place, and to catch it the times I called about it beforehand. But we're online now.

Hate talking about someone behind their back, but AFAICT Google Fiber isn't on Bluesky (yet). How many days would you go without internet before scoping out other providers?
Gfiber has been out since Thursday with an issue they assured me two weeks before wasn't going to be an issue.

Why not?

Will bluesky be the place for these things, and maybe some evolution of the others?
What will you be using bluesky for?

These days, it routinely was still a very good place for just the latter two things: contacting customer support, and getting quicker information. Particularly about things like sports (I have some lists that are still valuable, covering sports journalists for the Royals and Blues).

Hey all y'all. Glad to see you over here on bluesky.
I remember, once, being all into twitter. It held space for a few things missing elsewhere: shorter collabs or live-tweeting, a way to interact with official pages like businesses or churches that somehow was more interpersonal, and quicker news.
