Not sure what product this farm produces. I was drawn to the tree down by the road. The stone walls here looked like in the past this was a vineyard and then repurpose to produce another crop. The Red color is a bit of a hat tip to to the old Kodak IR film "Aerochrome."

Not sure why this one was not planted with corn or sorghum like the fields around it. Perhaps it is used for new calves. it does have a small gate to the road

If there is a spot to grow something to eat or drink or raise stock on the Portuguese farmers will make it happen. They carved their farmlands out lava and defined those fields with walls of lava. All farmers work hard and put in the hours. The Portuguese have made hard work an artform #photography
