I understand your concerns and your perspective on the issues they had in 2022 and before. Not a lot of good things to say about those times. Lots of changes in people there since 2022. So I get that the thefts continue and are horrible for those affected, but this all appears to stem from vaults stolen in 2022. We knew then that anything stored was at risk and most went through the mass password & secret update. Is there a separate event that shows that LastPass has a new issue?

When you look up and wonder “why does my office have an eye doctor vision test on the monitor” and then after walking closer you realize it’s a pairing code (and that you need to make an appointment with the eye doctor)
