The "inevitability of AI" as well as treating art production as a "race" are both lies to induce FOMO and trigger adoption, sell coaching. Successful art never "won" because it had better production metrics. It "won" because it had better reception metrics.

Belated Halloween post (whoops!) I found some beautiful vintage Halloween postcards online and just had to draw my own version. The original card was published by Whitney Made circa early 1900s, but my research didn't turn up the illustrator's name (if you know them, lmk!)

Took some time the other day to have fun with papercutting. Very freeing to just work on something with no pressure or goal in mind!

The final from my sculpture project this past semester featuring my little witch cat, Fig. What a fun experience it was to get really into crafting, sculpting, and some creative problem-solving.
