I think, like with other aspects, it gets easier with practice.

My mom always used to tell me:
“most of the time when we think someone is thinking about us - they’re usually thinking about themselves”

And I think that’s a helpful thing to remember in this context 😊

I remember first starting my ABDL journey online in my early 20s. It’s a difficult balance, since I think you have sort of “come out to yourself first” with kinks, and give yourself space to understand them.

But that gets easier over time with practice. ☺️

Working on the internalized shame and guilt is something that takes time and practice

It’s why community is so important. Being around others who have this in common is a vital part of self acceptance

Having a diaper kink is a perfectly normal thing for a lot of folks all over the world 😊

Feeling the need to respect others boundaries is a good impulse.

But I think collective trauma from how vicious the internet has become has distorted that impulse.

You don’t owe other people comfort at the expense of your freedom or safety.

Protect yourself, but don’t dim your light ❤️

I was lucky enough to have older kinksters instill this value into me, and I’m grateful for it.

I recognize that a lot of millennial kinksters had the privilege of growing up in less exposed, and far less dangerous times.

I’m sorry so many of you can’t fully experience that.

To put it simply:

You do not accommodate people who do not want you to exist.

You do not need to reason with unreasonable people.

If you give them any ground, they will ask for more and more until there is nothing more of you left.

Be yourself, don’t let bigots dictate who you get to be. Period.

To the younger kinksters:

Reminder that you, as a kinky and queer person, deserve to take up space and sometimes that’s going to make people uncomfortable.

And that is ok.

We, I think, have lost the ability to distinguish between “discomfort” and “harm”. And that hurts kinky folks.

Idk quite why, but growing up, my headcanon was that rich boys always wore diapers.

I think it’s because *I* always wanted to wear diapers, and rich boys got whatever they wanted, so it just made sense they were pampered.

Fancy suit, expensive cologne, thick cushy diaper.

It just made sense.
