Which makes me ask again, if I started promoting SubStar over the other site, would people even support me?

I guess only time will tell.

I just want to make a living doing what I love, but can I even say I love what I am doing? I've been pushing myself because I just want it to work without constantly worrying that one post, one link, or one mistake would cost me everything I worked so hard to build.

It's almost as if I am shouting out into an empty void... And that empty void only returns silence. What am I doing wrong? Why isn't anything I do working? Why am I feeling so burnt out? It's so confusing. I don't understand.

Like IDK what to do. If I stop posting on there and start promoting Substar more, would people even support me? I have been trying to make both work for so long but lately... Idk if that is feasible. Substar just isn't as popular I guess.

I don't know anymore guys. I wonder how long it'll be before I suddenly get banned from my paysites too. Particularly the one that is notorious for checking people's galleries if you link to them. It's just so restrictive... feels like I'm walking on eggshells and can't express myself freely.

O.O Is that a 4.0 feature? Also cool! I planned on coloring my comic after the fact but my comic project file corrupted so now I am left with only the exports in B&W sadly :(

The preview page was pretty crunched, so here's @yardleyart.bsky.social's fab inks (and SHADING??🙏) on the left with my colours on the right!

I went with a pretty simple style for this one so that I could spend more time on doing lots of colour holds to make the characters and objects pop!

When coloring comic pages, Do they give you the original file, or do you have to manually separate the black and white?
