Someone asked me a few weeks ago if I was on the spectrum or had ADD/ADHD and quite honestly it’s crossed my mind many times. When I was a kid we didn’t have these diagnosis, we were just problem kids, or slow learners. So we developed work arounds if we were also over achievers.

We don’t take away glasses when someone starts seeing better

We shouldn’t take away support or accommodations when someone starts living better

That we are broken
