Playing around with some saturated colours for a more pulp-ish look. A slightly younger, happier Sera, plus two other characters from my webcomic.

Sera, entering the castle: Agh! Sera: Thank you, my Lord. I'm in your debt. Borislav: Who are you? Sera: Here... Sera, handing him a vial: My name is Sera.

Borislav, studying the vial, then glancing out the window: Those beasts seem rather determined to catch you. Sera: I fear I stepped into their territory by accident. Borislav: I would appreciate a little more honesty.

Perhaps those beasts had a good reason to hunt her.

Some outfits I designed earlier this year. Seraphina (Sera) is an alchemist who works as a healer; the blue dress is her ‘work’ outfit, while the others are for different occasions and adventures throughout the story. She takes good care of her appearance, and changes her hairstyle fairly often.

I think this lip sync tutorial can still help many, so here you go :)

En mi caso, esa pasión es justamente lo que alimenta el afán de superar los obstáculos que aparecen, incluidos los momentos donde falla la motivación. Me enfrento a un desafío mayor, pero con mucha más disciplina y cuidado. Aun así, sé muy bien que es mi caso particular y que corro un riesgo mayor.

I applied this especially to Borislav’s face, which was really intimidating to draw when I first started. Now, after hundreds of drawings, his face has become much easier and a lot more fun to work on.

I realised I was overusing straight-on views for my panels. Symmetrical faces are simpler to draw, but they tend to look a bit too stiff. Adding just a bit of an angle has made things more interesting and readable.

For some panels, I only made subtle changes, but in others, I redid the faces and perspective completely. I’m much happier with the expressions in this new style. And yes, Seraphina was not in a good mood.
