So after this dried I wasn't happy with it, painting small children is notoriously hard, the wrong mark can destroy a painting. So I tweaked it and now it is finished. Oil on Birchwood panel 23cms x 31cms.

Zoomed into a far off rock with my phone to see 6 Cormorants drying off themselves after fishing in the Channel, one random herring gull amongst them.

Thanks Paul that's kind, I have been selling art since I was 11yrs old, started with commissions but moved constantly, lived on the road until 15yrs ago, first time I have been in the same place for more than 6yrs, so constantly starting over!. Always been a sideline for extra cash!.

Oh no!, what a shame. I have 34 paintings in it, will put photos up at some point Maria. Our paintings are total opposites and yet comlpiment each others, Helen's are quick free flowing imaginative ink and pen paintings, I love them. Thanks Maria, I have covid atm. 🥹😭
