I have a new assistant at work. She started today - on the day I was doing a talk about ADHD (including my personal experience) WHILE DRESSED AS OZZY OSBOURNE, where I opened with “my name’s Ozzy Osbourne and I’m the Prince of darkness. Reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated.”

Pumpkin survived being outside all night! Except the candle was very hot and baked the lit until it got smaller. But it withstood wind and rain last night and still kept lit.

Carved my first pumpkin of the season today! Bats for Ozzy

It involves cleaning it, dipping it in one solution (liver of sulfur) and then another (baking soda water), and then polishing (baking soda) and wax (Renaissance wax). Very fun science experiment.
