admittedly i dont like love having to connect to some weird third party thing to mail stuff to the US BUT HOWEVER i think i have finally figured out how to mail my badges out with only a +$10 increase in cost!! which suckz but also in the scheme of thingz. not so bad!

QUESTION for my fellow badge artistz: how do you define a badge for the harmonized code? there is one for laminated paper but would i get in trouble using that since my badges also include the keychain clasp and eyeletz? am i overthinking this?

worst case i do plan to go to US furry conz Eventually so maybe pickup or passing along to a friend to mail out. would probably be a super long wait so itz not ideal but. an option

other options being me just like,. holding the finished badges & hoping there is a time when shipping them wont cost a stupid amount.. or holding off on starting the commission until we know more abt the cost and deciding later.. maybe some people may also be ok just paying it but thtz up to them..

to be honest my current plan is to reach out to commissioners as i get to them in the queue in hopes that the policy changes in some way before its their turn, if not then i will give them the option of a refund since like what somwhere between $80-$200 more is kinda a big jump!
