But he's never been sorry for anything he's done and he wasn't sorry for Varric. He uses blood magic on Rook, he makes Rook forget Varric died in their arms??? And all he does is give you a shitty apology....to then attempt a 2nd betrayal. Crazy.

I don't think Solas is deserving of the good ending he's given the option to have either lol. If I didn't need the achievement it would be hands thrown, on sight. Every time. He has done NOTHING to show he wants redemption in 2 games. I was GOING to let him go originally, let him seek redemption

I do not think Solas is a deep and mysterious philosophical man, I think he's an incredibly flawed man who unfortunately gets wubbified and babied by a community...when he has done nothing but manipulate for 2 games now lol. Oh but this time it's Rook's fault I guess lol my mistake.

I'm gonna say it since a TikTok made me feel validated *ahem* my biggest gripe with Dragon Age Veilguard was the amount of Solvallen "One True Pairing" that was happening, a lot of devs mentioned really liking Solas and that's why he became a last minute romance addition in Inquisition.
