I left today’s classified briefing more frustrated and concerned than before.

The burden was on the Trump Administration to make a clear, concise case for their strike on Iran. They failed to do so.

I’m voting yes on Rep. Khanna's War Powers Resolution.

Once again the MAGA Supreme Court justices have put partisan politics over impartial justice.

But now the race for NY-10 is set. We’re up against an AIPAC-aligned multi-millionaire who bought his seat and we’re building a people’s movement to take it back. It’s time to fight, not fold. LFG.

β€œThe same people who tried to overturn the 2020 election have only grown better organized and are now embedded in the machinery of government,” one legal expert said about a meeting of election deniers held last week.

I want a democratic Iran. And I won’t shed a tear for the Ayatollah’s death.

But my first concern will always be the national security of the United States.

Trump is putting our troops and all Americans in danger without any real reason he can explain.

Thank you for bringing this to light.

Congress needs to stop the nonsense and pass real laws for the greater good, not just for rich people tax cuts.

Markets exist to allocate capital and manage economic risk, not to monetize bloodshed.

When people can profit from the precise timing of violence, it corrodes confidence in our institutions and raises obvious concerns about insider knowledge.

When bombs fall and families are praying for their loved ones, no one should be refreshing a trading screen hoping to cash in.

This is about basic decency and public trust.

No ICE in schools. No ICE in hospitals.

Under Governor Newsom’s leadership, California is implementing the nation’s strongest laws to protect our residents from tactics being employed by President Trump and Stephen Miller’s secret police.

I do think it’s ideologically consistent. In both cases they hold that people higher up the hierarchy (men, parents) have supreme authority over their subordinates.

It’s utterly fucked up, but it is consistent.

Bonus 192: The Court vs. the Circuit Justice Tuesday's ruling in the SNAP case appears to be the second example in seven months (and for quite some before that) of the full Supreme Court taking an application away from the circuit justice.

190. SNAP WTF? A very quick explainer on why Justice Jackson issued an "administrative stay" in the SNAP case late on Friday night, and on what's likely to happen next

The applicant would re-file under Rule 22.4, and it would be referred to the full Court, which would do whatever it wants to do (but only after a pretty significant breach in the Court's internal decorum).

I wrote about this in the context of how Justice Jackson handled the SNAP case in November:
