Text which starts: The previous day passed without much else happening. Moonwing took Sapkit to gather herbs from the broader BurrClan territory, and together they found a soft piece of Twoleg trash which Sapkit could chew on to soothe his aching mouth. Despite how Sapkit felt like biting into the soft “plah-stick” ring would only make the pain worse, it instead helped to reduce the pain. After that, they gathered the herbs that Moonwing was running low on, and he taught Sapkit about what each of the herbs was used for. Moonwing explained, “We use poppy seeds to reduce the pain of injuries, and can help other cats fall asleep, and we use milkweed seeds to help nursing mollies who aren't making enough milk. These, milkweed leaves, fragrant sumac leaves, and western tickseed leaves, all cure parasites that medicine cats understand as ‘bellyache.’” Sapkit asked what parasites are, and Moonwing patted Sapkit on the head with his tail and meowed, “You don’t need to worry about that yet. Besides, I don’t think that anyone in BurrClan has parasites.” Sapkit then asked, “What about those,” pointing his nose over at a collection of purple flowers with a strong scent that Moonwing gathered. Moonwing bent down to gather them in his jaws, and meowed, “Well, it can make a poultice to calm other cats when you breathe it in.
