Also when start every post about a thing with “I know it’s bad but-“ just stop. Who is that for? If it’s fanart of the thing you’re starting from a weird place of telling its fans you don’t like it, and people who don’t like it already won’t like it. We don’t need to signal cynicism all the time.

Honestly one of the best decisions I’ve ever made was to unfollow anyone who talks about how much they don’t like a thing I do. Not because they’re not allowed to, but like, we have so little these days, why would I choose to see that? And it’s always unsolicited, nobody acts like that in real life.

They didn’t have the part where you defeat the evil t-Rex skeleton that had claimed your father’s life only to find out that he had been trapped in another word and retuned once you fixed the dimensions?

This alway happens when I draw two things in close proximity to each other, one of them starts to do better and it really makes me resent it even though the other one isn’t doing that bad by my standards.

Sometimes I almost ruin a drawing for myself when showing a Wip to someone.

As @beacrow.bsky.social and I leaned today, it’s really easy to forget Valentine’s Day is a thing when you’re being all sweet and lovey to each other every day.

I’m so proud of her collar with the constellation boötes on it. I kind of try to throw it in wherever I can (like the title card for the comic), because her name is Arcturus.

And that’s how a Lego display stand off Amazon and eight extra pieces can make the biolizard 1000% cooler.

The part where a fae queen drops an entire fantasy cosmology on you and the stakes suddenly escalate from “sick sibling” to “ the end of the multiverse” unless you can put on a festival using a magic rock you got from ancient ruins was pretty wild.

I finished “The Dog Island” I was not expecting that much stuff to happen, or a final boss fight, or a resident evil 4 style mine cart escape after.

Yeah! I think it started as an edit of a sprite from a game, but by this point it was almost completely different, you can just maybe tell that the eye I still a little bit left over from something else.

I think I saw some people were sharing how much their art had changed recently. This is still one of my favourite comparisons.

And then... we can start book 2. The story I ACTUALLY originally meant to make.

OKAY! I think I've finally nailed down the rest of this in a way that works for me, subject to minor changes in script but I have all the main events SORTED.
Chapter 5 "Some of us don't get to win": 6 pages done, ~6 more to go
Chapter 6 "Angels Rush In": ~10 pages
Chapter 7 "Miracles": ~8 pages

Fictional characters aren’t real, and never will be real and therefore will never judge or be weirded out by you buying every outfit they’ve ever worn.

I played it on ps5 after it came out and like, it pretty much worked.
