I got back to my sewing machine today and ooooooh my god it’s so addicting.

Getting ready to return to work checklist:
✅ buy new clothes
✅ charge work phone
✅ print a picture of second child so that my office isnt just a shrine to the oldest kid

I am officially “maybe I should have brought earplugs to the rock show” years old.

To be clear, this is younger than “brought earplugs to the rock show” years old.

Con: baby woke up early to just chat and then go back to sleep on her own.

Pro: I got like an hour and a half of reading done 🤷‍♀️

As someone who is going to have to juggle both kids as a result of this - I am also miffed 😵‍💫

The biggest difference between this mat leave and my first (besides that it’s not COVID times) is that I have a big group of parent friends to do things with 🥹

Oh, and like no one cloth diapers anymore?!

Nothing like a daycare closure because of random flooding 🤌 if you see me today, buy me a coffee.

As a lover of winter, even I can agree I’m kind of over this.
