I would say for wolves but it definitely benefits character designs in general. Because I keep seeing the same patterns

People anthromorphize things too literally so it just falls into a category of social rules that should have never existed. Just do your own research. Go watch a casual geographic video or something or watch ginger snaps

Second of all I don’t base my wolves on appearances linked with human features I go for the emotional and psychological aspect. It’s way more broader.
