They're a lot better nowadays, but they do tend to be slower for raytracing than Nvidia cards

Every year, we get closer and closer to a true โ€œEgg Computerโ€.โ€จโ€จ

Weโ€™ve already made:โ€จ
- Egg Transistorsโ€จ
- Egg Resistive Memories
โ€จ- Egg Supercapacitor electrodesโ€จ
- AND + NOT Logic Gatesโ€จโ€จ

Albumin is a hilariously good organic semiconductor material.

My brother in Christ you built a literal Chinese room simulator, you *designed it* to hallucinate. The fact that it's able to output anything remotely factual or useful is just a happy accident

"how deeply unpleasant trying to learn art is" ...so you don't actually want to do art, right? You just like the idea of having done it? Do you really think so many artists would spend their lives making things if it was that bad? These people I swear lol

Honestly even if they continue to be treated as a peripheral, I hope GPUs *at least* become easier to cool. CPU sockets make it easy to add a nice beefy heatsink, but for GPUs you have to rely on whatever the manufacturer gives you and hope you don't end up with a jet engine

Honestly I didn't realise people were using it as evidence that some underlying algorithm was unreliable in the wrong way, it seemed like most complaints were about chat-bots as a whole not being able to do basic things their marketing implies they can for reasons their users don't get told about

Most experts acknowledge that a takeover by artificial intelligence is coming for the video game industry within the next five years, and executives have already started preparing to restructure their companies in anticipation.
After all, it was one of the first sectors to deploy A.I. programming in the 1980s, with the four ghosts who chase Pac-Man each responding differently to the player's real-time movements.
