I think since I've started work all my creative hobbies have just died. I miss writing. I miss painting minis.

But I cannot motivate myself.

So instead I turn off my brain and go mentally abscent while I play something for hours, letting more time get siphoned away.

That's my kneejerk feedback, though. Lots of good stuff, I just don't understand why Legendary difficulty is having me kill yellow bars with a primary faster than I used to on Legendary with a special... Maybe re-evaluate the damage numbers here!

Now... we just need to allow people to fast-track earning Strand/Prismatic if they already have a character with it unlocked. I'm not saying a "skip the campaign" button, but perhaps something akin to WoW's account wide unlock system where to regain a feature, you have a shorter questline.

I've a soft spot for sets being added; I like it. I think the seasonal set buff also is a good thing, and some people don't like it, that's fine, but this is an interesting middle ground between ARPG seasons needing you to start again, and allowing you to retain your gear. I think it's good!

Keplar is, cool so far design wise, I will say it gets a little frustrating redoing all the puzzles when I have to backtrack, though, or if I go to orbit because I need to take a break.

Love the new weapons, solid perk pools, unique looks, hard to argue with!

That being said!

Story's very good so far, really enjoying it, bit of a slow burn start but that's, to be honest, quite nice; VAs and Narrative hit a home run. Portal, does reduce the friction of getting into the game quickly, but I'll miss the director purely on nostalgia.

It's been silly player mistakes like slipping off and stuff. No complaints about that, more... I come into the Legendary campaign to feel challenged, and honestly right now I'm playing it like it's a playlist strike.

I do think this needs a re-visit.
