Thank you. The way I do it is first I place piles of Pro Acryl Basing Textures - Snow - ULTRA FINE. Then while its still wet I sprinkle on Army Painter Battlefield Basing: Snow.

First 2k point game of the crusade vs guard. Ultramarines from 4th company made a fast push to recover the scattered supplies. The guard sent tanks and artillery to hold back the Astartes but to no avail.

LOL no I actually just set a piece of paper on my work table under my work light.

Yeah it just sprue I cleaned up and cut wood grain in with my hobby knife. I did a test piece on one of my troopers to see how it would look. If you zoom in on the guy on the bottom right you can see what I’m going for.
