Here I am just trying to survive another damn Wednesday and stumble onto this instead.

That's my forever mood.

Like...if they had said it about my kid, I would be all, 'Okay. That's fair.' But you can't talk about my dog like that. She's a rescue. She can't help it if she still has a lot of street in her.

My neighbor just said my dog was 'a lot' and very 'attention seeking'. My question is, am I supposed to fight the neighbor now or just be silently offended for a while? I'm not sure of the rules of civility anymore.

I rarely write kid or baby fics for EO, but I can name a kid in a heartbeat. Pets, though? Forget about it. They're never getting another pet.
