Just starting my look through small German construction cos. and contractors. Any names I should focus on?

Bilfinger, Hochtief, Strabag (Austrian), Heidelberg Materials are some obvious ones.
In my smallcap portfolio, I like the Funkwerk exposure to the package. It is not a construction co but provides rail radio/communication. I believe we will see massive rail infrastructure investment.

I am certainly the only one on Bsky following that name, but 12m pre-figures by Nordwest Handel were slightly encouraging for the German construction sector. Steel slightly picking up in H2. Is the bottom near?

Thanks for sharing. Great review. I like the fact that rather than going on a rant as to how stupid this market is (and it is stupid) or quoting Buffett's cash quota, you look out for your own mistakes.
A good process is is more important than short-term results.

Fairfax-Aktionär hier. Danke fürs Teilen. In der Tat wird dadurch die CAR verbessert, aber nicht die Realität und es ist ein Einmaleffekt. Zugleich versuchen alle Banken ihre Ratios zu optimieren. Weiterjin sind auch 60 bps Capital Generation in eine Quartal nicht übel. Für mich daher keine 🚩
