Loving spring! Have to celebrate lilacs, which will last longer than our current administration.

Repeating "deport" in understandable exhortations "do not deport X" "stop deportations" "end mass deportations" traps us in the opposition's frame and actually reinforces the logic of...deportations. We must say what we're for: "here to stay" "[PLACE] is our home" etc presuppose immigrants belong.

I was just saying this today. Part of Dr King's legacy is that he taught people that they could do more than they thought they could. #MLKDay
