We are pleased to announce that we have been awarded our gold RNRA award. This means that we have been recognised as a nurturing community with relationships at the heart of all that we do. We now have our gold RNRA bear to join our school!

Parents and carers can now apply for school clothing grants and free school meals for the new school year.
Apply for a clothing grant by Friday 11 July and get the payment into your bank account before the new term starts.

Thank you to everyone who supported our recent Cash4Kids Day. We raised £245 for the charity!

P4 had good fun making smoothies and juices using fruit and vegetables. We made a berry smoothie, tropical smoothie, carrot and ginger juice and a spinach and green apple juice.

The Easter Bunny came to visit our school today! Primary 1 to 4 went out into the school garden in the lovely sunshine for an Easter egg hunt! 🐰🥚

Primary 1 were reading a story about saving Easter. The Easter Bunny needed help from some new friends to make sure that the eggs were ready. We went for a hunt in the playground to see if we could find all the pictures from the main parts of the story.

Primary 1 and 2 have been using the new Slow Cooker donated by Tesco to cook Leek and Potato soup for snack tomorrow. Can't wait! 😋🍲

We had a special visit from the Easter Bunny today. Some of the children from the nursery came up to hear a story and then take part in an egg hunt! 🥚🐰

As part of STEAM fortnight, P2 were painting with ice cubes and talking about how a liquid can change to a solid or a gas.

Well done to Lisa who won first prize in The Society of Dyers and Colourants colouring competition! She wins a set of Malcolm the Weaver books for herself and the school. The school also gets £200! Well done Lisa! 🎉📚

Primary 6 made a visit to Ferguslie and Hillview nurseries for World Book Day. They read stories to their new buddies and even had time to play with them!📚😊

For World Book Day, all classes are contributing to a whole school story. Every class will add different elements to it. Today the story outline was started by Primary 1 who cam e up with a girl and a fly creating a lovely story place! We can't wait to see the finished story.👩📖

Primary 1 enjoyed a visit from the police and fire service. Everyone had a great time finding out about their job! 👮🚓🚒👨‍🚒 @policescotland.bsky.social

P2 joined the live story event and listened to the story of The Bongles and the Crafty Crows. They discussed choosing 3 random words as a more secure password. They also discussed the importance of not sharing passwords and login details. @digilearnscot.bsky.social @digilearnren.bsky.social
