The death penalty has never been ok.

I'm planting my flag here for sure. It was never OK, even in holy books.

Barbaric. Yes, I'm aware of the crimes all of these humans have (and now had) committed. Death penalty is still barbaric.

This, right here, exactly why the death penalty should have never been a thing. It's cruel and unusual. Particularly, when the State gets the prosecution wrong but there's still a conviction.
