There are zero studies showing that "DSD athletes" have an advantage over cis athletes. They do not exist. What people do instead (as I talk about at length on Tested!) is use studies on male athletes and simply say "well DSD athletes are male" which is not true, and not how science works.

there are like two neat tricks to solving “male loneliness”:

1) don’t be a weird little creep
2) find your passions and pursue them

the male loneliness conversation is often disingenuous because pretty much everyone talking about it seriously never starts at ‘boys & young men keep mainlining content from weird little creeps who tell them they need to become weird little creeps too’

I think ACFC focuses more on the streetwear potential of its jerseys than broadcast. This one’s gonna be cool to wear around town where people can see the detail. (Not saying it’s the correct strategy, but makes sense to me). I still think their first palm tree jersey was the best secondary!

wow it turns out The Women's Sports Protectors actually don't like women's sports, who could have seen this coming

Thought that since some people like to talk endlessly about saving women's sports that I'd make a list of the most pressing issues that need addressing to improve the lives of female athletes. Would be awesome if these folks took a break from the one-note culture war to help address these.

I tried like 5 different pairs/brands so the ear fit thing seems to be a Me Problem. If other ones have worked for you in the past, I’m sure they’d work great. They’re also good for taking calls, even on windy days

I’m a big fan of Anker’s SoundCore series. They have excellent sound quality + noise canceling and a bit more budget-friendly. I started with the Space A40 buds style but ended up going with the Sport x20 for more secure fit (not an issue w design, just seems like all earbuds fall out of my ears 🤷)
