Likely because Repubs refuse to allow a Democratic-leaning island to become a full 51st state.

Here's the collage of a "thousand little pieces" I've been working on the past month. For now I'm calling it "Sky Scraped," but I'm open to changing my mind. It's 8"W x 20"H. Sorry for the table as background--that will change! (Open the photo up to see the full length)

I have others, but in checking back, they're either local to Albuquerque or New Mexico, or they're in anthologies. In either case, they're not going to be of help to anyone else. However, San Pedro River Review and Cholla Needles, both in California, have been receptive to Japanese forms.

Great article--and great advice. I know I've had luck publishing haiku in non-haiku journals (but it is a lot more work!).

I like the order as is.
(Though when I first glanced at the water image, I thought it was going to be a camp/flood poem!)
