Smoothie's colors always throw me off, especially in the anime, it's just such an aggressive color palette lol

Im surprised that one time i predicted a chara's colors (Gunko) i managed to get close to the official at all

It doesn't help that Oda doesn't seem to know the colors until he colors them

If you plan your life around popularity instead of doing what you actually enjoy, you're gonna burn yourself out quickly. That's why ppl say to draw for yourself, bc constantly drawing for an audience, without pay, is exhausting

Most folks I've seen who became popular didn't set out to *be* popular, it was just a consequence of them being themselves. Friendliness, passion, and genuine enjoyment for what you create can go a long way

I'm getting more into Precure bc of the new Star Detective, and man, i have never seen so many "throw spaghetti at the wall and see what sticks" magical girl character designs

(I don't mean this in a bad way)

I'm hoping to improve on all that this year tho, and i really wanna draw personal stuff again

I want to be more active here tbh, but it's been a rough year. It's almost the anniversary of when my mom died, her dog died around Halloween, had a couple health scares with my cat, and other major changes- adjusting has been difficult, and my ability to draw and socialize has been extremely low
