I really enjoyed spending the day at the #LuxembourgOpenSourceConference: lots of useful insights and interesting practical cases of #opensource usage at all levels of #publicadministration in Europe and around the world.

Munich's full name in Italian is "Monaco di Baviera" exactly to distinguish it from the small country in southern France. Makes it even more confusing when they advertise trains to both cities on the same site 🙄

A very nice line, particularly the final approach to Ljubljana :) Once you get there, go for a drink on the rooftop of the Nebotičnik Skyscraper and then for proper Balkan food at Baščaršija 😉 Enjoy!

2. The stewards were really proactive in ensuring phones were kept away. When people tried to take a picture of the show, a flashlight quickly "enlightened" them it's not ok. After a couple of times, nobody tried again. Very effective, something I wish happened more often particularly in Italy.

1. Americans laughed loudly at the funny parts of the opera and clapped at every aria. Not something I have ever experienced in Europe.

I did the "Train of wonders" on the local regional train last year. There are a few very nice spots on the line but for the most part it is just tunnels tbh. Cuneo is quite pretty, though, and you can have a tasty lunch and a lovely craft beer at Baladin near the station 😊
