I had Fozzy pencilled in for Barliman, but that might be too small a role for him.

We're a watchkeeper down for a few days as our 3/O is on a course. We're not steaming til after he gets back, so myself and the other 2/O are doing 12s. Not the norm, but we'll get there. Also means that I'm now off to bed to be ready for a 0000 start.

I love the image of him standing off against the Balrog, and let's face it, who wouldn't be emotionally raw after his fall into the depths.

Who do we cast Kermit as?

Frodo is arguably the lead character, but Aragorn gives the Arwen/Miss Piggy Romance, but I want Miss Piggy for the 'I am no man!' Eowyn moment ... Kermit doesn't strike me as Faramir though.

I have no further info on the cat or it's fate, but if I find any I will up date.

As for my ship, well, she did briefly have ship's pigeon, but only overnight before we could track down her owner and get her safely home.

My ship has no cat, but this photo from the foredeck of THV Irene seems to indicate she did. There's also crew from THV Stella, the Blackwall depot, and some LVs in the photo, but as the photo is on Irene I suspect it's her cat. Sadly, Irene hit a sea mine in 1915 and was lost along with 21 crew.

Mostly it seems to be Evac chairs in stairways, pax with special evacuation needs identified in advance and in known cabins (mostly cruise people replying so far), and crew assigned to passenger assistance teams in the muster list.

I've put feelers out to a few cruise ship type people who might be able to help. Will let you know what they come up with.

Sometimes it was 3d6 x6, but using that system we tended to have 3 passes, and you could pick with of the 3 sets of 6 you wanted.

I'm so out of touch in terms of TTRPGs. Made a D&D 5th character today, asked the GM what system they wanted to use for stats and was told 'Standard Array or Points Buy'. I've used neither before. My old group's standard was 4d6 and drop the lowest 6 times, assign as you want.

Hamburg is definitely on the list. I believe he has already done Rotterdam, but will pass it on.
