What would you do if you knew the world was ending in the near future?
Despite its broadly familiar premise, the animated limited series "Carol & the End of the World" admirably diverges from genre convention and narrative expectations.
Such an amazing little miniseries. Please watch it!

When I worked on this in 2021, I told Dan Guterman that I waited my whole life to work on a project like this, and that wasn't an exaggeration. Look out for "Carol & The End of the World" this December! It is truly a rare and special gem.

One big takeaway from the WGA strike is that the AMPTP was acting like they were an inevitable force that would steamroll the writers and replace them with AI regurgitations, right up until the moment they folded and gave the WGA almost everything they asked for. TAG take notes

Based on the deal, AI can't be source material. So if you're a publisher, AI novels or graphic novels or whatever just became that much less appealing because *they can't be optioned.*
