When books are different sizes, the way not to waste a lot of space is put all the same sized books on the same shelf, which plays havoc with other forms of organization (by author, subject, etc.)

1. The Camino de Santiago
2. Western European Culinary History, 1300-1500
3. The works of Terry Pratchett
I hope they hold out for raises.
