The original idea for this fic was completely different but after rewriting it hundred times I settled on this.

If someone asked Kakashi about his current job, he'd probably call it boring. Maybe crack a joke about how the universe had finally caught up to him.
He'd say he wasn't made for it - that he went from clawing through life alone to now rotting behind a desk under dim lights. One of the bulbs probably needs to be changed or he will go crazy from constant malfunctions. Eh.
