This but IRL. When the car comes in a series of button commands are displayed on the driver's steering wheel which they have to input so that a light comes on and the crew are allowed to do each stage of a pit stop.

I agree that's what they did, but I don't think it was on purpose -I do think that when they were originally negotiating McLaren were seriously considering sending Palou or O'Ward to F1 when Ricciardo's contract expired, but then Piastri unexpectedly became available and they pounced.

Despite everything, all the evidence we have is still that Prema are the team to beat in Formula Regional. They won the drivers' with Slater and came second in teams in FRECA last year, and with their Mumbai Falcons hat on won both championships in FRMET after a wobbly start. So good news for Seb.
