R.I.P. Udo Kier, who was a working actor from the 1960s until the present day. I knew him from movies like FLESH FOR FRANKENSTEIN and his work with Lars Von Trier, but I've seen him the most as Dr. Frank Mandel in an uncredited appearance in Dario Argento's SUSPIRIA. A true legend.

NIGHT is slightly longer, restoring the scene at the Hobart farm that had been cut for time. It's a fun, spooky, and atmospheric thriller. It's only too bad Dana Andrews' John Holden is so wooden and boring. Everything else is great! (2/2)

Tonight I watched Jacques Tourneur's NIGHT OF THE DEMON (1957), based on M.R. James's classic story "Casting the Runes." I hadn't seen it in years. Previously, I'd only seen the shorter CURSE OF THE DEMON cut. (1/2)

The hotel we're staying at is bigger than a city block, has four different restaurants, and features a swimming pool roughly the size of the Empire State Building! Orlando is crazy!
