This week we deployed a big set of API fixes and improvements.
The most visible change is that a lot more TV episodes and series will now succeed in matching with metadata and thumbnails/covers.

We are frequently fixing bugs and making API upgrades, and over recent weeks we made 5 major dependency upgrades, and fixed bugs, including fixing localization support for our Chinese languages.

The State of LG TV Media Playback
In WebOS 25, LG finally added support for Dolby Vision in MKV, but they broke other things along the way, leading many people to regret updating their firmware.

We have been applying API fixes, which should improve the chances of getting a good result, especially for newly-released content.
These fixes are available to all, no updates necessary.
Please let us know about any missing metadata or thumbnails and we will look into it.
In 15.2.0 we have added Audioaddict Network support, fixed playback bugs, and added support for more LG and Samsung TVs, including the newest ones.

We have just added a new page to our Knowledge Base to describe the changes in v15. We hope you're enjoying the beta, and we are very close to releasing the first stable version, which already has bugfixes and improvements over the recent beta.

This month, our website and API received 1.2 million unique visits, the most we have ever seen. For comparison, last year we were very proud of 180,000 unique visits in a month.

We have begun shifting our infrastucture to run 100% on renewable electricity from hydro and wind power.
It will reduce our costs and improve our performance by a projected 500%, meaning a more responsive website, forum and API. It will also be more resilient to outages.
