- don't overlook weak poker hands! if you have a good mult joker and chips joker, you are safe to play any poker hand, which lets you hold more cards in your hand or really dig for your best cards. blue sealed cards are very strong in general, but they work best in a high card or pair build!

- given the opportunity, it's good to have a small deck! destroying unwanted cards is useful so that you can more easily draw important cards that synergise with your jokers, let you play specific poker hands, or use certain enhancements. don't bloat your deck with junk from booster packs!

don't feel too bummed about losing a lot early on, i experienced that too! early on is a good opportunity to feel the ropes of each joker's strengths & weaknesses, and also unlock the really good jokers that often single-handedly win runs

- if you want to go for high scores, retrigger jokers are your friend (hack, dusk, mime, etc.) paired with a bunch of glass or steel cards
- i personally think that the jokers you have to unlock (eg. blueprint, invisible joker) are generally better than those that are available from the start, so

- in general, face cards are the strongest ranks to build around, so make/find face cards if you don't have jokers synergistic with anything else
- don't skip blinds! (or at least be very picky) because most of the rewards aren't worth missing out on interest, joker scaling, and a shop
