…but man… trying to get RPM Fusion working is difficult. I think I’m giving up on getting HEIC to work on Gwenview. It’s just not worth it.

So, to install this plugin for Gwenview, I’ve had to figure out that I need to make RPM Fusion repository enabled, just to get this one plugin. But I finally figured it out I think. Man this was confusing for a while. I don’t blame this on Bazzite though. Random plugins are confusing lol….

…now to figure out how to solve/install the optional dependency for Gwenview.

So, I found out that on Bazzite, uJust is a thing (don’t know what it is lol). Essentially I was trying to install my video editor of choice: DaVinci. And I was having trouble, so I put it off and tried to do the KDE one. But turns out that doing a uJust script made it work…

Bazzite day whatever. Found a unique problem today. Was trying to find a way to open a HEIC file in a program for photos. I ended up being fine, but KDE or Dolphin or whomever runs Gwenview REALLY needs to add HEIC support to their image viewer.

Still am having a blast though.

So…. I found out HEIC format was a thing today… thank you.

Shout out to Steam for showing me the programs my friends have been playing recently….and that showed me about @kohaku-saurus.bsky.social finding a cool program. Gunna give PNGTuber Plus a try.

Sorry my friends. I didn’t give any Bazzite news recently. But I do have news. Currently just been working on sonic generations cause I was trying to get that out of the way before the new movie

Question for managers of the @bazzite.gg / Bazzite Portal: I just came into the ecosystem just a week ago, and was curious why the Steam Gaming Mode Icon changed after a couple installations of programs that were in the Bazzite Portal, why the Steam Gaming Mode icon changed from Steam to Xbox.

For those in the Linux community, any advise about game development. I have a good idea for a game, but I would love some advise.

(I wanna make a game in a similar art style as Inscryption for Liars Dice, since a recent popular version of my favorite game decided to have AI voices)

Absolutely pretty and terrifying (plz don’t kill me…)

After setting up and downloading a game with the initial boot up Steam Gaming Mode, I played one game and then had to work for a couple days. Will be trying to do Non-Gaming Tasks tomorrow, which should be Linux’s forte.

Also I’m using a Ryzen 7 8700G and the KDE plasma version.
