2025 was characterised botanically by finding nice things closer to home but finishing the year strong with a trip to Tenerife and some Canary Island endemics. The Canary Island Spurge (Euphorbia canariensis). Common in low lying scrublands across the archipelago.

One-flowered glasswort (Salicornia disarticulata) still looking good on a North Norfolk saltmarsh. Distinctive little thing once known. The single flowers seem to typically turn reddish. Most other glassworts had died off for the winter already.
