An artist my father did a lot of work with has a very poorly written memoir. It almost feels self published. Doesn’t even have an index. Well known singer. Just was odd to leaf through it today at a bookshop. Felt like a high schooler wrote it. Just was shocked at how poorly executed this was.

Music biographies are a trip. Wild to read a book about something you’ve lived and see the wrong information in it. History isn’t told by the winners. It’s sometimes told by the people that just lived long enough and forgot a whole bunch of pertinent information. Haha.
