So, I sat there, not wanting to leave so I didn't. Instead I sat with the problem and tried alternatives. Replacing sim cards, but my outdated phone was locked... I had two phones (iphone 7 and an old free insurance phone) and they were both locked.

I went into T-Mobile to just ask about the prices for some hotspots. I gotten to ask and they said I could walk out with one for $30. Then I didn't want to leave, because it was so cheap to walk out with, but out of reach.

I wasn't really thinking about T-Mobile though. There was this huge strip mall and I just wanted to go inside a place to sit down. The options were an urgency care clinic or something else next to it, and T-Mobile was right next to it.

So, before I found a place to cross, I found T-Mobile. Well, another strip mall that took up a whole block with no way to cross the street until the end of it.

Walking back from Burger King, it was hot still--hotter because it was around 3 PM. I thought that maybe the walk back will be easier since I know it. All I had to do was cross the street somewhere and get on a bus...but these blocks are long.

It was a milestone cuz if I can make it to Burger King--if I ever gotten a next time, I can make it to the library. Besides, there was free wi-fi, got some water, and got to sit for a longer moment.

Well...I did not make it to the library. It was just one last bus away. All I had to do was walk to turn the corner to find the bus stop that will get me somewhat across from it. Instead, I made it to Burger King.

It was HOT, folks. Like, I was warned how hot it was that day, but I had to do something. I walked a few miles, took a few buses, stopped to rest a lot...stopped to just stand mid block... These blocks are long, so I had to stand or sit on the sidewalk if I got tired.

So, when the internet went off I walked for it. I was broke with only enough for the bus. With no internet and out of a phone hotspot (the phone was VERY outdated), I did not have a map. I was on foot, and I just knew I had to get to a library.

I have surprisingly found quite a bit to do without internet… learn to write with my left hand, which I normally do with my right hand… I’ve been trying to do other things too: increase vocab, learn a bit of sign language, maybe even learn a bit of mandarin…

The internet has been basically nonexistent lately… yeah…it still sucks, but at least now I can use my phone a little bit…

Okay…so, motivation is constantly changing. And that’s why I chose to create multiple things because there will always be something that I’m motivated to do… And just when I think I have reached the end of this sentence, what can be said next doesn’t sound right.

We are all gonna look back at this time of our lives in the future, and in a conversation we will say, “Back when we (or people) used to chat with AI for our existential crises. Wanna grab a coffee?”
