Teen Librarian Aron recently visited Lakeview Junior High. Students created cards for Illinois State Representative Nicole LaHa's Valentine's for Veterans program. Cards made by kids and teens will be distributed to veterans. IPPL's Teen Advisory Service Committee also made cards and paper flowers.

Don't forget to complete our Monarch (K-3rd), Bluestem (3rd-5th), or Caudill (4th-8th) reading challenge! Children who read all 20 books can submit their reading challenge log to the 2nd-floor Kids & Teens Desk to win a book as their prize. The challenge ends Sunday, Mar. 15.

The Mid-Kids Lounge is on the library’s second floor and is a space for kids in grades 1–6. Kids can find a place to hang out, do homework, and use the activity table. Stop by and check it out.
