I played the first hour of Pokopia this morning before work and that was a mistake because it's now the only thing I can think about

I doubt it would be an additional real world cost.

They don't typically do paid cosmetics like that for Pokémon games.

If there's DLC it's a story thing that adds more Pokémon.

I would even settle for some facepaint tool where I can draw one on myself

We know it's not in the base character customisation, based on demos etc.

But really hoping they have facial hair as things you can get and equip later, like hats and masks.

It also feels like a very natural progression if we want to do a third Norse game before moving to another mythology.

You can reuse assets from 2018 and Ragnarok, so you have something to bridge the gap with both this and the Greek Trilogy remakes before probably doing Egyptian stuff on PS6.
