Late winter is peak romance time for coyotes (typically January through March) when pairs strengthen bonds, mark territory, and prepare for spring pups. Unlike some wildlife, coyotes often form long-term pair bonds, meaning this season is less about flashy competition.

After a year of chasing wildlife, we finally decided to chase some lights instead and headed out to film the northern lights. The sky put on a proper show, swirling green and purple like it was trying to audition for a cosmic dance-off.

On Jill’s birthday, we saw a big grizzly - not bad for November - but that wasn't as epic as our encounter with 2 bull elk having a post-rut fight. If that wasn't enough, how about a wolf pup from this year's litter? Safe to say, it was a very happy birthday for Jill!
